Riding School at Benbrook Stables for Homeschoolers
If you are looking for the perfect extracurricular activity for your homeschooled student, we have the perfect solution.
Riding school is the perfect introduction to horses in a safe and super fun environment for students not in a traditional classroom every day.
Riding School entails riding horses, learning everything from proper care, nutrition, anatomy, how horses communicate with each other, colorings and markings, all about your tack, and so much more. This is a hands-on experience your homeschooler will never forget.
Benbrook Stables Riding School begins soon!! Our first-class begins on September 1st, 2022 and goes through May 26th, 2023. You can join in anytime!! Just pick the 4 days that best fit your schedule. All classes teach something new and exciting, so there is no better time to jump right in.
You can begin classes now, in September, in October, or anytime throughout the school year.
All classes are two hours (9am - 11am) and will be offered on Thursdays for students 6 to 9 years old and Fridays for students 8 and older.
Riding school classes will introduce young horse enthusiasts to everything they would ever want to know. It will focus on the fundamentals of western riding, including brushing, saddling, riding techniques, and overall horse care. Campers will also learn how to ride English and bareback.
Along with riding, campers will have fun with arts and crafts, go on hayrides, explore the barns, learn about what it means to work on a ranch, and so much more.
Kids will never get bored at riding school. Between time with the horses, our fun-loving staff, and all of the activities we have planned, there will never be a dull moment. Kids will learn so much more than just riding. Everything from the overall care of animals to learning the different parts of the saddle, riding school kids will learn everything there is to know about the world of horses.
Your lesson dates are completely customizable. When signing up, you choose any 4 Thursdays or 4 Fridays that work for your schedule. However, once you choose your 4 dates, you are completely locked in and they are non-transferable.
