Benbrook Stables is one of the finest horse boarding facilities in North Texas.  Our facilities include individual stalls with shavings, multiple safe pastures for daily turnout, a full-size lighted rodeo arena, a smaller lighted riding arena, two round pens, and miles of scenic trails around Lake Benbrook.

The riding trails are maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and are designated horse trails.  No motorized vehicles are allowed on the trails.  In addition, the Corps maintains a campground at the south end of trails that have horse corrals for campers.

Throughout the year we host many activities for our boarders, including playdays, barrel races, group trail rides and campouts, team penning, team sorting, team roping, and cookouts.

We offer several options to meet the needs of our boarders:

Full Care allows the boarder to just come out and ride.  We provide the grain and hay, feed twice a day, turn the horses out into the pasture and clean the stall, water buckets and feed buckets.  We feed two scoops of an all-grain mix of oats, corn and barley along with coastal hay.  We turn out all horses after feeding, except during bad weather

Partial Care allows the convenience of full care, with the boarder providing the grain and hay.  Variations of partial care include the boarder feeding in the evening, or the boarder cleaning the stall

Self Care boarders provide their own grain and hay, feed and water the horse and clean the stall daily

As the owners, we take pride in the stables and we treat every horse as if they were our own.  We live on the property and we are always available for emergencies.  As parents, we encourage our kids to ride and we actively promote a family atmosphere.

We are very fortunate to have a great group of boarders.  Our boarders range from first-time horse owners to lifelong horsemen.  Everyone is friendly and willing to offer advice or assistance, if needed.  Nearly everyone turns out to participate in our playdays, barrel races, cookouts, campouts and trail rides.  Stop by the stables and see it for yourself.

We offer several pricing options to meet your individual needs.
